I don’t entirely understand the message presented here. Are you saying that Obama is a game-changer (changing the status quo), or are you saying Obama was the wrong choice?
We’re not out of Iraq and Afghanistan yet. (But it is encouraging that he’ll follow through on his promises to get us out.)
I find it perplexing that this simple, long overdue sentiment would need clarification. It needed no clarification back in the northeast (that blue state bastion) where it was published, distributed, read and apparently appreciated by tens of thousands. Let’s analyze the cartoon: “Hope” has become “Nope,” and I’m specifically calling him “status quo” while enumerating the promises he’s welched on. Hmmm…what could I possibly mean by that?
Perhaps it’s simply too difficult (and depressing) to realize that the Democratic party is also crap. We have a two party system where one party hates the other; and yet both parties are corporatists/capitalists. It’s a farce. Anyone doing his/her homework would have realized that Obama was backed by banks and credit card companies; that’s where he got his presidential campaign money. Get over it already; the Democratic party is complicate in this.
