Despite rewinding a few times, there are several occasions during these clips from KPNX’s Sunday Square Off, hosted by Brahm Resnik, where I have absolutely no idea what on earth Governor Brewer is talking about. Hey, people in the health services industry will likely lose their jobs and thousands of people will be without healthcare, but at very least we have “enjoy the beautiful state that Arizona has always enjoyed”, right?

  1. So this means Gov. Brewhaha is gambling on this whole deal??? God I need to move from this state. She is clearly not on the clue bus and like bush will bring this state to it’s knees.

  2. say what?????? OMG, we should be afraid, very afraid. Not only is she terminally tongue-tied, her logic is grade-school, and she is sick, sad, and out of her mind. Please keep her off the air and out of the media’s eye until she’s out of office; she’s done enough harm that will already take years to overcome!

  3. Gov. Brewer has a lot on her plate. Yet, she is the most courageous and smartest Governor Arizona has probably ever had. She has taken on the U.S. Government and Obama, because they fail to do the job of securing our borders, stopping the illegal aliens from invading and the anchor babies program. You find so much fault with her, she’s not being paid to look pretty or to be perfect or well-liked. She’s being paid to do a job and she is doing it in with gusto and heart. If you can’t understand, that when you are spending more than what’s coming in, you have to do without….often times, things you really want and need….then you can’t do the math. Sometimes it hurts, but you do what has to be done. So quit your whining.

  4. Let me get this straight Brewer wants to give 500 million dollars to big business in tax cuts. To create new jobs. She wants to take away millions from Healthcare, universities , and possibly K-12 education. Sounds like about 500 million dollars or so. These cuts will take away many jobs. Seems like she thinks the jobs that big business will create are way more important than the jobs that will be cut. And many of the poor will die off without healthcare. It’s a win win situation( better people in Az. and less of the riff raff.) I’m wondering why we voted for the 1 cent sales tax. Seems like not for education and healthcare as was stated to us, but for big tax breaks to big business instead. Is this how we want our state to be run? I hope not.

  5. Diogenese,

The annual deficit we are facing, 3 billion in this coming fiscal year perhaps, is more or less equal to the tax cuts given to corporations and the wealthiest among us over the past ten years by the Republican majority. This would be the reason why enough money is no longer coming in to run the state properly. Which part of this very simple math do you not understand?

Courageous and smart? Well I guess I’ll give you courageous; opening her ignorant mouth while steady knowing that she doesn’t possess the ability to conjugate even the simplest of english verbs (hell, most of the illegal aliens I’ve met speak better english than her), is in fact courageous, but smart? Really? Really? I hardly think so. No smarts there, sorry.

  6. I don’t really expect much from ol’ “heads in the desert” Brewer, but I wasn’t truly frightened until I heard her ramble on about the “trickle down” effect. Yet we wonder how the divide between rich & poor grows at such an alarming rate?
