For all of you out there who missed the UA ‘riot’ that took place this past Saturday, here’s a video that covered the event from start to finish. My analysis of the event: Wildcat fans really know how to throw a party.

No National Guard, no State Troopers, no tear gas; you call this a riot?
‘…throw a party?’ The riot police come out to disperse an unruly crowd looking for a flashpoint to become an unruly mob and you call it a party. People were injured and gawkers got caught in the middle as the usual anarchists fanned the flames of unlawful behavior on national TV. There is an undercurrent of lawbreakers in Tucson and the area around the university and 4th street. Great advertisement for regular citizens to bring their families to the fair and other activities in the old pueblo. We prefer to stay safe and away from the drug dealing, drinking, and other behavior plaguing that area where “March Madness” is an advertising gimmick to stir up the anarchists. The downward spiral continues in the spirit of diversity.
I am guessing sarcasm can not be heard in the printed word. Unlawful behavior happens at any time, wherever and certainly on a university campus. March Madness is certainly going to happen when rival teams get down to the wire…especially with the overtimes and such a close game. Rioting certainly not a way to “throw a party”, but then again there is a fine line between partying and being out of control.
