My Senator, Victor Soltero, has proven to be a spineless disgrace for a Democrat.
Whenever the Religious Right CAP brings up one of it’s bills my congresspersons answer my letters and vote against the Republicans, but he never answers my letters and either votes with the Republicans, like the gay basking religion is schools bill, or at best just doesn’t vote -as with the anti-gay marraige amendment.
It’s too lat to primary him, and I wish the Greens were running against him but they aren’t – so I’ll just have to not vote on that one.
I wish the Dems could find more candidates with a backbone

You’re in luck! Vic Soltero is retiring this year, so you already have a different candidate: Rep. Linda Lopez is running unopposed for the Senate seat.
