The final votes are counted and Councilwoman Shirley Scott is the winner of the Ward 4 race. Scott squeaked by with a 1,862-vote margin over Republican Tyler Vogt.

ETA: Assistant City Clerk Suzanne Mesich tells us there are about 50 votes left to count.

How would the Republicans cheat? The Recorder is a leftist too! If anything, it’s amazing how close Tyler Vogt got with 2-1 registered Dems vs. registered Reps.
