Donald Trump stopped in Tucson for a campaign rally on Saturday, March 19, ahead of Arizona’s March 22 presidential primary. Trump’s rally drew both supporters and protesters—with the two groups literally coming to blows at one point during the event.

Trump was welcomed by former Arizona governor Jan Brewer, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and former state senator Frank Antenori.

  1. Looks like a great time. Is the protester that wore the flag shirt and girl with KKK hood the author writer TW profiled 3 months ago ?

“If it sounds like it does now in five years, I’ll be surprised,” Sanders says, of his podcast. He wants to add spoken word and other local celebrities to his shows. He’s been branching out to other states as well, and even Mexico.

Or was it the Bryan Sanders you profiled 3 years ago?

Were you aware that he had planned to do this?

  2. For those people who are boycotting this woman’s restaurant because she went on stage with Donald Trump, stop! She is a small business owner who has progressed finally to a small restaurant opened by her with her husband. This is not what democrats or progressives do. It’s shameful. She isn’t even aware that she is seen to be promoting him. And even if she were, this is America where everyone has the right to express an opinion. It’s ugly and awful that she might lose her business over something so trivial. Please, if you are in Catalina, go in and eat and apologize for those who behaved badly.

  3. Thank you Bea Burk. This madness needs to stop. Arrest the criminals on both sides. The protesters are looking more and more like the haters every day.

  4. Oh yeah OPV! Tucson is on its way to becoming another Brussels. Id I Ott. No, I’m not calling anyone names. Moor On. These are the names I use for my best of friends. Peece O’Sheet.

  5. Hey! The protesters should attend and support their own candidate instead of using OBSTRUCTION which is the enemy’s MO!

  6. Bea Burk M it looks like we have all been duped by the lady with the sign. Turns out she took a sign in support of Sanders and did the same thing. Then she admitted she only went to listen and didn’t have time to vote yesterday.

How quickly they learned that politicians will do anything for minority support, and yet she took advantage of all of us.

Notice her sign didn’t say “I support…” It said Latinos support.

Read carefully. The only death threats she got was after the Trump rally. But she did build up her own business with customers trying to help her.

    She may not need help.
