PopEater reports:

Now that Bristol Palin has left Alaska for Arizona, where she has just purchased a $172.000 five-bedroom home for cash, friends of the family are asking how much longer momma Sarah will call the great state home?

“Sarah has been looking at homes in Arizona, too,” an insider tells me. “She wants to be close to her daughter and only grandchild.”

Getting hassled by The Man Mild-mannered reporter

One reply on “Sarah Palin’s Arizona?”

  1. …I could go the lowbrow route and ask how the heck she’ll see Russia from Arizona, but…

Will she put up a big fence around her house to keep neighboring bookwriters from looking in? How much desert will surround her McMansion? What does John McCain think? (What WAS John McCain thinking? dang, man…)

But the real curiosity may be: Will she shoot the mountain lions nearby?

It appears that my biases against Sarah Palin as a central figurehead for a wing of the Republican Party are blatantly showing. I could have a field day with this news.

Happily Bristol bought in the Phoenix suburb of Maricopa, Ariz., which gives Tucson a bit of a buffer zone.
