Personally, I welcome more inside-the-party Republican self-destruction (like this new ad from Ron Paul), but I also wonder how Newt Gingrich, a guy whose positions seem to change by the hour and based on his audience at that particular moment, was taken seriously as a presidential candidate for nearly two weeks. I suppose the adulterer you know is better than the one you only deeply suspect.
Maybe Jon Huntsman will get a turn in the “anyone but Romney” chair next? Wait, that would make far too much sense.

Ron Paul attacks his own seriousness. There’s no way I can take an ad seriously that depends on Rush Limbaugh’s or Dr Laura’s arm-waving oratory to support any point it’s trying to make.
I liked the video-game-like soundtrack, though. I guess that’s starting to be a standard.
