Once it was announced that Roadhouse Cinemas, a dine-in/drink-in movie theater experience, was taking over the former Crossroads space, Tucson reacted with a great deal of enthusiasm, including adding over 12,000 likes to their Facebook page.
This weekend, as long as you give the owners and managers the benefit of the doubt, you can finally see a movie, beer in hand, in the comfort of their seemingly-very-comfortable seats as they start the soft open process today. Ticket prices are really reasonable, compared to the other giant first-run chains, with adults $9.95 Monday through Thursday and $12.50 Friday through Sunday.
Come Join us for our soft-launch starting October 3rd. While we train and work out our processes, we’re going to be offering food at half-price. We appreciate your patience while we make Roadhouse Cinemas Tucson’s best movie experience.
For our soft opening, we’ll be showing:

This sounds like a great idea. I hope it makes it.
Sounds like fun!
Not going until they actually screen Road House.
