Dear Gov. Perry,
I think we’ve both realized that you won’t be president at this point, but could you please stick around for another month or so?
XOXO,
Dan Gibson
Falling in the polls, Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry can’t afford to discount all voters between 18 and 21 years old. But that’s what he seemed to do in a speech today at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College.
At the end of his stump speech at a town hall meeting, Perry said, “Those of you that will be 21 by November the 12th, I ask for your support and your vote. Those of you who won’t be, work hard.”
The legal voting age is 18, not 21. The date of the 2012 general election is Nov. 6.
This article appears in Nov 24-30, 2011.

Please let this lunkhead get the GOP nomination. I’d be in heaven if I could spend the next year surrounded by his brand of political slapstick. He makes ’08 McCain look like a sober statesman.
The only thing anyone would have to worry about is him being so lovably mitten-fisted that he wins by a landslide.
More proof that this guy is just a tool.
