This just looks like fun, and mildly more cathartic than my side-of-the-knife-blade technique. My wife wouldn’t be thrilled with the soiling of two bowls, but so be it.

For the record, it doesnt usually work that easy. I was taught this method a long time ago and have since reverted back to the ol’ side of the chef knife.
