Now that we have this year’s Best of Tucson® finished, printed
and distributed (and now that we’ve, hopefully, survived our ’80s
Karaoke Night/Best of Tucson® Release Party without making asses of
ourselves), we can turn our focus to Fall Club Crawl®, which will
be taking over much of downtown Tucson and Fourth Avenue on Saturday,
Oct. 3.
We’ll have information on everything you could possibly ever want to
know about Club Crawl® in a special section next week (including
schedules, maps and features on some of the bigger-name acts), but in
the meantime:
• If you just can’t wait to get the venue list and schedule,
head on over to ClubCrawl.net. All
of the information is there—and you can also sign up for free
text-message alerts for news on the night of the event. We’ll also be
posting news and updates at ClubCrawl.net up until the day of the
event, so check it out!
• You may want to get yourself over to Zia Records and get your
all-admission wristbands. They’re $8 in advance—and seeing as
some 80 bands and musicians are slated to perform at Club Crawl®,
that works out to a mere dime per band. If you want to wait until the
night of the event, you’ll pay $2 more, and a line may be involved.
In any case, I hope you’ll join us for our twice-a-year celebration
of Tucson’s local music scene. See you there!
