A UA employee was mildly traumatized when she encountered a graphic depiction of female genitalia in the women’s restroom, a UA Police Department report stated.
A staffer at the UA Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd., called the UAPD to say she’d just come into work and needed to use the restroom. There, she said, on the wall of the stall she was using, someone had taped a zoomed-in photograph of a woman’s vagina (apparently torn from a pornographic magazine) with a note “describing a vulgar sexual act” handwritten over part of the image.
The note wasn’t threatening in nature or directed toward a specific individual, she said, nor did this close-up vagina photo seem to have a point (though perhaps there was irony in its placement near where women pulled down their pants, albeit for a [presumably] nonsexual purpose).
The woman had removed the photo from the wall and gave it to a UA officer before returning to work, where she’d previously been about to start processing payroll.
