The Santa Cruz Heritage Dinner sounds like a fun way to check out some of the different local-food projects going on around town. It’s a three-course progressive dinner that starts at an urban farm and finishes at a “restaurant in a historic building,” although we’re not sure what that restaurant is.
The event – which is conveniently located at locations accessible from a bike path – includes tours, a book-signing, cooking demonstrations and a reusable grocery bag from the Santa Cruz Valley Heritage Association. All that for only $25, or $10 for ages 6 to 10.
