Dr. David Dixon has been working on trying to convince Tucson Weekly editor Jimmy Boegle that the chemtrail movement is more than just a kooky conspiracy theory.

It’s a topic Boegle is familiar with, and he asked Dixon to give him some new proof that chem trails are an evil plan to … well, here’s part of a definition from Wikipedia:

The chemtrail conspiracy theory holds that some trails left by aircraft are actually chemical or biological agents deliberately sprayed at high altitudes for a purpose undisclosed to the general public in clandestine programs directed by government officials. As a result, official agencies have received thousands of complaints from people who have demanded an explanation. The existence of chemtrails has been repeatedly denied by government agencies and scientists around the world, who say the trails are normal contrails.

The latest evidence submitted to El Editor is a constituent reply letter from U.S. Congressman Raul Grijalva’s office.

From Dr. Dixon:

Dear Jim Boegle (Editor Tucson Weekly),

When we spoke last regarding Arial Aerosol Spraying (Chem Trails), you said that you had investigated this topic for over 11 years and saw no proof whatsoever. My response was to simply go outside and take a look – it is as obvious as the nose on ones face, once you start looking up, if even just occasionally.

You said once I had proof you would investigate the matter further. Well, here is proof – a letter from our Congressman, Raul Grijalva, stating that he knows about it, is concerned AND feels that it is a public health threat. Repeat – Public Health Threat. Those are not idle words from a Congressman of the United States.

I would implore you as the local editor of a popular news magazine who listed “Chem Trail Conspiracist” as nuts who need to “Get Out of Town” in one of your recently published issues – to retract this comment publically in your magazine, and begin doing whatever you can to protect yourself, your loved ones and the people of this community from Aerosolized Aluminum, Barium and Strontium Nano Particulate spraying of our atmosphere, under the guise of reversing global warming. Right now as we speak, they are “whiting” out the sky in Tucson and there are NO real clouds present…. it is all chem trail cirrus clouds. All of it.

If we are lucky, that is all they are spraying us with… You have an obligation, now more than ever (since you took a firm stand publically in your newspaper), that this is simply “nuttery” and there is NO spraying going on. The sad/funny thing is, you are breathing it too; so the joke is on all of us – including you and your family.

FYI – This email is being Bcc’d to many, many diverse folks and organizations around Tucson and the country.

Well, it’s true that Congressman Grijalva’s office did e-mail Dr. Dixon on Jan. 21 in response to his concerns with “aerial over spraying.”

From Grijalva’s office:

Thank you for writing me about aerial aerosol spaying. I am always pleased to hear from constituents, such as you, who take the time to communicate with me. I want to thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. Staying on top of the issues that matter to you, by opening a dialogue with your elected officials, is one of the most important aspects of our democracy.

Like you, I too am concerned about this issue. Aerial over spraying presents a public health threat. As the matter is debated in Congress, my staff and I will be monitoring it closely and taking the appropriate actions to make sure your voice is heard.

Well, unfortunately this actually doesn’t prove anything.

We called Grijalva’s communications director, Adam Sarvana, who told us the staffer who responded to the letter doesn’t know anything about chemtrails. However, part of Grijalva’s district includes rural agricultural areas. Pesticide spraying issues, especially as more development occurs near ag areas, does get reported to the congressman’s office from time to time.

  1. The usual spot-on journalism. Oh, hell. Let’s help the poor doctor out. I date myself for remembering what the sky looked like before. Germans are much harder to fool – close to 90% don’t buy the idea that jets demolish skyscrapers. Here’s a piece that put me on the fence about the chemtrails subject. How about a long distance call to browbeat some Germans? Maybe you can tell them to get off the planet.

  3. “Jim” Boegle? “Jim” ? Nobody I know of calls Jimmy Jim, not even Jimmy James. Maybe he should call WNYX NewsRadio with this conspiracy.

  4. Mr. Waldron, I take it you don’t understand German.

    I can now divulge the content of those trails, and the purpose behind them. They are mostly water vapor and carbon dioxide. The purpose is to propel airplanes across the country.

  5. And I don’t claim to understand German. My particular interest in this video is the part where the military is denying that they dump “that much” particulate into the atmosphere. You could do a great service, Corvi, to those like us on the fence with this particular issue by placing your more accurate translation in response to that post. Then we’ll find out if the video’s translation was completely whack and let the chips fall where they may. If it’s initially faked, the next question would be, “why so much effort to try to discredit a particular group?”

    I haven’t investigated this issue, but I remain open minded based on what I see in the sky and what I remember seeing in the 70’s and 80’s.

    And speaking of open-minded, thanks for the links, Mari, but I’m afraid they are unnecessary. I’ve been following the publications for a while and, honestly, I have no complaints about issues of fairness, etc. They don’t pretend to be investigative journalists in one stretch, then slink back into an “entertainment mag” once it’s demonstrated they were merely ‘calling it in’. Hit pieces get responses in the same venue the piece initially appeared and no one deletes comments simply because they are embarrassing to the paper. These are, perhaps, some factors that make Portland a different place.

    Still you can’t help but peruse such snide, cheeky moments like, “Next.”

    If I were you both, I would write a front page apology to your families, the community you live in, and all the brave and patriotic citizens of this country that have tried to enlighten the masses to a crime being perpetrated in plain sight and right above our heads. Like I said earlier Mari and Jim – “the jokes on all of us”, and its not so funny.

    One more thing… the makers of the Chem Trails you deny exist might be guilty of Mass Murder as a result of the record number of Tornados that devastated the Southern United States in April 2011. Google – Chem Trails and HAARP. Where’s the EPA when you really need them? How’s that for crazy?

  8. I live in Oro Valley and we are being sprayed several days a week, every week! I have lived here all of my life and know every direction of every passenger jet flight path. The planes that I see leaving trails do not following regular passenger jet flight paths. They are dispersing chemical trails that are miles long which are sprayed in a path in which they’ll be best spread to look like innocent cirrus clouds by the air currents.

    I’ve seen large X and grid patterns many, many times and taken tons of photos! I’ve seen these planes dumping the last of their loads in a squiggle-S shape just before they land at both DMAFB and Evergreen in Marana.

    As I stood outside of my home one day I observed an enormous oval shaped trail being laid. It’s as if the pilots are begging us to speak up, so they can stop the insanity of being forced to fly or loose their jobs! There’s no crop dusting being done in this area, that’s ridiculous!

    Passenger jet engine technology has improved so much that very little condensation-vapor trails are being left behind. I watch the normal flights that go overhead and often I see no trails whatsoever!

    I’ve been suffering from an upper respiratory disorder for 7 months now. I’ve written to Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, Pima Co. Air Quality Control, KGUN-9, Oro Valley Mayor’s office and no one seems to care. KGUN 9 didn’t even want to get involved. So much for being on Our Side!

    The other day I just flat out called the OVPD and they came to my house. As we all stood out front looking at a big “X” in the sky along with several lines to the north and 4 planes going at it as fast as they could, they said that they’ve never herd of this or even noticed it before. Are they serious??? I guess they’re always just looking at license plates when they drive around.

    We have to get involved and speak up about this horrible crime being committed against us all. We are breathing poison and it’s slowly making our children and the elderly sick! Did we get a chance to vote on this? We vote on other less important issues! This has secretly been forced on us all by our sick government. 200 more tanker planes have been ordered by the US. I voted for Obama and I’m so very, very sorry and sad that I did so.

    This spraying is even being done in remote areas and cooler climates in the US, like small communities in WA, OR, ID, MT, etc. Just get on Zillow and check out listings in small towns, you’ll see chemtrails in the skies there too! It’s being done over the oceans as well.

    I must have missed the Executive Order to save the planet from global warming at the expense of humanity.
