A new restaurant called The Little Greek is open at 1101 N. Wilmot Road, in El Dorado Plaza. You can take a look at the menu right here.
It was a bit early when we called this morning for more details and nobody was in yet, but we did find this description on the restaurant’s Facebook page:
John Kranis, restaurant owner and designer, with son, Ryan Kranis, senior manager/owner, are pleased to announce the reopening of the improved Little Greek restaurant located at the El Dorado Plaza on the northwest corner of Speedway and Wilmot. The Kranis’s offer three generations of local restaurant history and experience and are excited to offer another creative restaurant to the community.

I was so excited to see the new sign for a Greek place right around the corner from my house last week when I went to Trader Joe’s. I ran in and talked to the daughter and son of the owner for a minute, grabbed a menu, and promised to order Greek deliciousness straight away! Well, we did this week. He got the lamb shank and I got the lamb gyro. Never again. BLAND and BLAND. Makes me sad to even think about how crappy it is to live right next to a not good Greek joint!
I have already eaten at The Little Greek four times and I only discovered it three weeks ago-
I just can’t get enough! The restaurant is fresh, clean and airy, the service is friendly but not
smothering, and the food is fantastic! I love the chicken souvlaki as well as the gyro sandwich with Greek fries. The tzatziki is the best around-flavorful but not overwhelming. The lamb was fall off the bone tender with a richness that comes from an amazing marinade and slow cooking. I adore this spot and I can’t wait to go back!
THIS FOOD IS NOT BLAND BLAND!! THIS PLACE IS BRILLIANT!! I was impressed by everything about this place! Beautiful inside! Greek music playing! Real home cooked greek food by an actual greek chef! Not this corporate nonsense you see with “big fat greek”. I have to eat here again soon! Keep up the good work guys you may need a bigger space soon to accommodate the hundreds of people that i am sure will be flocking through that door!! I LOVE THE LITTLE GREEK!!!!!
We have eaten here twice in last month and have left very full and very happy both times. This includes a picky teen eater, so to me, that says a LOT!
