  1. We went recently for lunch and immediately decided to get takeout because it was 82 degrees in the dining room (we looked at the thermostat). The food was only mediocre. I initially thought my pad Thai was chicken rather than the beef I ordered because the meat was grayish-yellow. The flavor was pretty bland. Portions were adequate and the staff was friendly.

  2. Doesn’t sound promising based on Jamie’s comment. I am curious if anyone else has tried it yet?

I’m pretty set on my Thai restaurants but this one is so conveniently located.

  3. I used to love Thai China Palace, which IMO went downhill when it changed ownership and became Bai Thong. I recently found out Thai China Bistro is run by the same owners as the former Thai China Palace, as well as Thai China Siam up on Oracle. Still need to try them out, but sounds promising.

  4. I love their food. I know the owners and they are still dadapting to the new fast paced requirements of the Bistro. They make make everything when it is ordered so your food is always fresh. They are still training staff and getting the rythm down. So please give them a chance a couple times at different times and days. Hopefully in the next few months they will have eveything squared away and streamlined, offering you the best Thai food and service anywhere. I highly recommend!!!

  5. Food all tasted good, portions were all healthy, unfortunately it wasn’t Chinese or Thai food. The Pad Thai did not taste of tamarind or peanut, and was covered in a yellowish grease almost like gee (almost a 1/4 inch on bottom of plate). The Hot and Sour soup was neither hot nor sour. Summer rolls were authentic, but did not come with peanut sauce, though for $1.50 I got 1/4 teaspoon of peanut sauce. They have inside and outside seating and also deliver, but I doubt if I will go back, definitely not for Thai food!

  6. I found this place very disappointing. The Chinese food is just passing. The Thai food has no flavor that one would think when eating Thai. Coconut milk and bland meat is all you can taste. Whatever you do DO NOT order the thai food extra hot. All they do is through a ton of gritty, nasty chili powder all over the dish, rendering it inedible.

I have dines here three times, and each and every time they have both got the order wrong, and forgot to give me silverware.
