  1. Here is what we should do to John McCain: Rather than stand on his lawn, as Jon Stewart suggests, people should throw effigies of severed limbs into his various yards around the world. A continuous stream of them every day. Those soldiers in Bethesda aren’t missing limbs because DADT was repealed just now. They are missing limbs because jackasses like McCain sent them to Iraq and Afghanista­n to fight for Big Oil and KBR/Hallib­urton’s right to bilk the American public for billions and then didn’t give them enough armor to protect themselves­.

    To really drive home the point, each limb effigy should be labeled with the name of the soldier from whom it was taken in the name of profit and the date and circumstan­ces of the loss.

    Repeal of DADT ex post facto caused lost limbs, my ass! What a greedy, disingenuo­us, citizen hating, soldier exploiting­, SOB.

To Christopher Francis: How bad does it have to get before people like you who are so worried about being thought of as grumpy or rude actually react to the insanity of what is happening in our state and national government. The retoric, nay downright BS, that is spewn from McCain an others like him is insulting to the supposed intelligence of the people of this country. Running roughshod over our rights, insulting and vilifying varous groups to further the adgenda of of the extreme wealthy and large corporation is happening on a daily basis in our nation’s Capital as well as this state.

    Do we all have to end up living in caves and become serfs before you and anyone else who thinks all is well with the world does something? Good luck with that.

  4. Oh and by the way: Did you listen to McCain’s speech that Jon Stewart referred too? It really was insulting. McCain started the reference to severed limbs.
