- Yes, it is. Please call off the dogs in your second term, Mr. President.
A medical marijuana rally called hastily by Americans for Safe Access drew a lot of honks from passers-by Thursday afternoon, but not a lot of protesters.
About a dozen folks marched around the intersection of Speedway and Swan for about an hour during rush hour, sparking a bunch of honks of support and a few shouts of “Get a Job!” Interestingly, being there was my job, so Mr. Smith would offer a heartfelt “Go Fuck Yourself” to those folks. The rally was to protest President Obama’s administration busts of more than 200 medical marijuana facilities in the past few years.

At an annual cot of $125 for a license and $ 275 for a 1gram bud, someone is making a lot of money. Add this to the cost of driving in Tucson (Photo-sensor cameras) Arizona is ripping us off every day.
The “DRUG WAR” was lost the day it was launched. All it has really accomplished is to cost lots of LIVES and money. We needed to keep the “Alcohol War” fighters in a job during the 1930’s, and so “War On Drugs”. They have become very profitable to the runners and sellers, costly to everyone else. MMJ, and HEMP are useful and indeed, valuable. Both are painted with the same, broad, brush. Time to STOP it, already!
I too would have been there, had I known. We voted , we won, marijuana is legal for medical use. Now they need to back the fuck up and start racking in the money. I have a licence to use and still I have to get my meds via the back door. When will the polititions realize that they’re lossing so many tax dollars that we would give without arguement, instead they go back to the products that they have thus far taxed to the brink.
