Mitt Romney’s coming to Tucson tomorrow to speak at a Jim Click dealership. The people over at Fox 11 News have more:

TUCSON, Ariz. — The presidential campaign for 2012 is coming to Tucson for the first time.

The campaign of former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney said Tuesday he will hold a town hall and business roundtable Wednesday, September 14th, at a local car dealership.

Romney was leading in the GOP polls until Texas Governor Rick Perry entered the race earlier this month.

The release from the campaign says the Tucson event will begin at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday and will be held at Jim Click Ford at 22nd Street and Wilmot Road. The campaign says the event is not open to the public. It’s apparently for invited guests only.

I’ve always thought Romney looked and talked like a used-car dealer, so this seems rather fitting.

  1. “…a town hall and business roundtable…”

“The campaign says the event is not open to the public.”

We go town-hallin’ Jim Click style…

  2. hmmm….I really wish it was opened to the public. I would like to ask Mitt what he is going to do about the outsourcing of American jobs and making NAFTA fair and balanced. If someone going to the event reads this then please make this question a priority!

  3. Since you have judged Romney’s looks, could you publish a photo of yourself so we can make our own judgements on who looks more like a car salesman? Actually I think your comparison would make a lot of car salesman feel good, if they didn’t realize that you are trying to abase them.
