Ted Prezelski’s blog, Rum, Romanism, and Rebellion, reports that Ruth McClung has backed out of a scheduled debate with Raul Grijalva scheduled for Monday.

Maybe this new found reticence is because of McClung’s performance last night. She may have discovered that repeating the word “boycott” over and over again is a poor substitute for knowledge of the needs of the district and public policy.

  2. This is a bullshit story and Mari is a bullshit reporter. Grijalva’s camp challenged her to do a debate at the same time she had a previously scheduled townhall.

    Like I said, great reporting Mari. Way to print as fact the words of a partisan, paranoid blogger without doing any work yourself.

  3. Ruth McClung must have swept the floor with Grijalva at the debate to warrent these kinds of fake stories.
    Ruth is a literal rocket scientist, Raul is one of thousands of unprofitable ‘artists’. I’ll take brains over make believe any day.

Just to comment on the repeating boycott blurb, you could also add TARP, AIG bailout, GM bailout, Chrysler bailout, taking over the financial industry, taking over the banking industry, taking over the student loan industry, taking over the medical industry, stimulas, and OH YEAH….then the calling for a boycott of his own State while telling lies about SB 1070 to people he was elected to represent.
    It’s not JUST the boycott……that was just the last straw. A very damaging, irresponsible, and insulting last straw.
