Clint Eastwood has given us one more gift: A thousand LOLs in our Facebook feed. The Daily Dish rounds up tweets & whatnot and Funny or Die rounds up the memes.

More after the jump.

Getting hassled by The Man Mild-mannered reporter

  1. It made perfect sense to me. An empty chair is smarter than any chair with Obama in it. Good job Clint!

  2. Clint Eastwood (whom I have loved as an actor) revealed the pathetic state of the Republican party as he ranted at an empty chair, only to be overshadowed by the cheers of the equally clueless crowd at the RNC convention. It scares me that there are this many stupid people in our country that continue to drink the kool-aide. As a democrat I believe we need to question our leaders and they should be prepared to answer tough questions. This festival of lying and tired rhetoric needs to be a thing of the past. We should insist on substantial discussions of the important things and details about how those running for office plan to do what they propose. This includes Obama as well as Romney. Romney’s plan (or what he has eluded to) spells absolute disaster fiscally and morally. He represents everything bad that I can envision in a leader: self-interested, greedy, shallow, calculating, cold-hearted. He appalls me.
