26 seconds. That’s how long Louisiana Congressman Vance McAllister lustfully kissed one of his staffers in a surveillance video that was surfaced by The Ouachita Citizen.
According to the Citizen, the incident occurred at McAllister’s congressional office around 1:39 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2013. The Republican lawmaker built his race to replace Rep. Rodney Alexander on “faith, family, and country.” Obviously, that was a load of bullshit.
McAllister issued an apology Monday Morning (From The Ouachita Citizen):
“There’s no doubt I’ve fallen short and I’m asking for forgiveness,” McAllister said in a statement. “I’m asking for forgiveness from God, my wife, my kids, my staff, and my constituents who elected me to serve. Trust is something I know has to be earned whether your a husband, a father, or a congressman. I promise to do everything I can to earn back the trust of everyone I’ve disappointed.”
McAllister’s slogan for November’s election should be: “Lies, hot staffers and you suckers will believe anything.”
It looks like Louisiana voters will believe what you’re selling if a Duck Dynasty star gives their approval:
