Related to absolutely nothing other than my general love for adorable things, here’s a video of blue penguins being released on a New Zealand beach. These penguins were lucky to survive the Rena oil spill last month, were cleaned and treated, and should be heading back to their home on Rabbit Island.
Good luck, penguins. Sorry about the oil.

Have you seen pictures of any of them in their little knitted outfits before they got cleaned up? Everyone in the world was making them little sweaters, you remember, and I hope we get to see those sometime. Sad as the situation was, I bet people put all their hearts and fashion sense into those little outfits.
