In this era, the world probably doesn’t need another opportunity for people to share music they like (as said by everyone in my Facebook friends list who has probably blocked the stream of information coming from Spotify regarding every song I listen to during the day), but it’s Friday, so why not engage in a little distraction from the Guardian called Six Songs of Me today? The idea is to pick six songs defining certain aspects of your life history (first song purchased, a song that always gets you dancing, song that takes you back, the perfect love song, the song you want played at your funeral, and a song that defines you as a human being), the site turns them into Spotify embeds, then you can share your list with others. Surely, your life is sadly empty without hearing my favorite Amy Grant and LL Cool J tracks, so my list is available here, feel free to share yours in the comments.

The editor of the Tucson Weekly. I have no idea how I got here.
