This clip is a reminder of what I love about The Daily Show: a politician says something so mind-bendingly detached from reality that it’s nearly impossible to process and they’re there, providing six and a half minutes of comedy mixed with some insight. In this case, they take on Mitt Romney’s desire to take credit for the auto-bailout, which he says he supported (except not really) via a newspaper editorial, so sure, he should totally be able to take credit.
