It is time to speak truth to power. Like never before. If we don’t stand up and fight, those who come after us, may not have a true understanding of what was lost.
We Arizonans now have the distinction of being the only State ever to have sold its capitol building ( Steve Farley sent me the securities issue documents, included are all the usual suspects i.e….Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Stanley et al….); perhaps we should phone Prime Minister Papandreous and ask where exactly it began to go off the rails?
Our middle class is being decimated. Whose very existence has been our greatest achievement. And yet, I hear daily, angry Tea Party voices demonizing the Union movement that made America’s ascendancy possible.
How can it even be possible that their energy is being usurped by fascists, here in America?
For God’s sake, my Tea Party brothers, you are being lied to by millionaires, and billionaires; you are angry, I get that; but you are walking in the wrong direction.
All the commercial real estate loans start to role over for refinance beginning in July of this year, the proverbial second shoe dropping; and perhaps the failure of the EU may take precedence in tipping the scales. In any case we are 18 months separated from the “crash”, and we are being told everything is just fine.
Seriously Jim it is time to start taking all this crap seriously, don’t you think?
And we have gained international notoriety for having passed a fascist immigration bill, written by a Neo-Nazi lawyer in Kansas, funded by a eugenics “actual Nazi” group. Right here in America. Gonna be hard to repair the damage regardless of the outcome in the courts.
C’mon people, we are better than this. I swear to you we are.
It’s just that you are being lied to from every front and it is difficult at best to discern the truth. But just trust your own instincts and common sense.
