After a long, arduous process, we finally have our finalists for the GIF contest.

All told, we ended up with six viable candidates for the crown of Tucson’s Best GIF, but after input from the good folks at Lindy’s on Fourth, we’ve cut the list in half.

You candidates are:

  1. It’s a Graphic Image Format (GIF), a compressed format for web images, originally created by Compuserve, I believe. An “animated GIF is just a series of GIF images put together to form a “moving” image.
