So I got on my computer this morning, another casual Wednesday perusing the Internet and usual news websites I check on the daily, in addition to checking my Facebook for the first time today [but not the last], I came across something interesting.
Several of my friend’s statuses said something along the lines of “Why is everyone in such a rush to get married?” and then I realized whom they were talking about.
Miley Cyrus is now engaged to Hunger Games star, Liam Hemsworth. The couple has been dating for three years after they met on the set of “The Last Song” in 2009 when she was 16 and he was 19.
Now, marriage is great and all but I really can’t get past the fact that Cyrus is only 19 and Hemsworth is 22.
Maybe this is just me but I don’t understand why this happy couple had to rush into marriage so quickly. I mean, Cyrus is not even able to drink legally yet.
How many star relationships have you seen where couples get married early on and then you hear about the awful split several months later? Don’t get me wrong I hope this marriage turns out well, but I am just saying…

Hell 30 is too young to get married
Well I dont think most American are 19 or 22 when they get married. Most are older, yet still only roughly 50 percent of those succeed. So, lets not judge harshly here. And in the distant pass many peolple got married in their early teens and those percentages are higher. If this couple feels they should marry, god bless them and best wishes. We should not put our own insecurities on other peaople or couples. If you believe 19 is too young to marry, then maybe it is for you because you are still playing the field or not sure what you want. Maybe this couple feels and believes they have found the right one. God intended or whatever you believe in nature lets say, prepares most women the ablility to reproduce at 12 or 13, so dont ignore what nature is telling you.. 19 is 6 to 8 years more than what nature intended…or do you think that is some fluke? Finally, you get no points for the drinking age, because we all know that the legal age to drink should be 18, afterall that is when you are considered an adult and that is when you can joing the military and die for this nation….
I got married young and still happily married. You can be 60 and not mature enough to be married. It really depends on the individuals. Age is just a number

’nuff said (at which point we insert the hackneyed “…just saying.”).
I was pushing thirty before I got hitched. It took, though. It’ll be 25 years this summer. A long, weird road, but I wouldn’t have taken it with anyone else.
It all depends on the couple……some should never get married and others just click….
Good answer Burnie…………….
According to the best of current research, the judgement centers of the human animal are not fully formed until the age of 25…
The substance of this article is further proof…
I got married a week before I turned 18…had just graduated from High School, thought I was grown up and knew every thing…whew wee MAMA…I didn’t know anything…Ha Ha. It wasn’t easy , but we made it and almost 44 years later we are still married. For a celebrity to get married that young with the pressures, I’m not sure if she is old enough to handle it. One thing though…Her Daddy needs to not interfere ever. If I had it to do over again I think I would have waited and gone to school, I think I would have married the same guy though.
I’d marry miley, NO PRENUP BABY!
