  1. Well, in a sense, she DID answer the question just by her complete lack of intellect. That’s why so many American students can’t find the US on a map— because they’re JUST LIKE HER. She’s answering by example.
    You have to feel sorry for her a little bit, though. She’s clearly really nervous.

  5. She still came in 4th place, imagine that?
    On the Today Show she sounded really intelligent. (honest)
    Plus she came out ahead because with this extra publicity I’m sure someone is pitching her some high priced modeling or acting job now.

  6. I would like to know what her prepared response was supposed to say. I can’t think of any scenario in which you would answer a question about American education by referring both to South Africa and “the Iraq.”

    Her repeated use of “such as” in place of “um” to reminds me of an android that has blown a microchip.
