Great news for Steve Carter, a Philadelphia man who realized he was actually a missing child, whose biological mother disappeared taking him from his biological father.

Even better news for birthers, since part of Carter’s journey involves a post-dated, somewhat fraudulent Hawaiian birth certificate. Now I don’t know what to believe.

Carter always knew he was adopted, but when got older, he started to wonder who his biological parents were. That curiosity and a simple web search took him on a journey that would change his life and even now, there are parts of his story that remain a mystery.

While he’s always been happy with his adoptive parents, something never felt quite right. Carter knew he was adopted from a Hawaiian orphanage when he was 4. But his birth certificate was created almost a year after his birth and he was labeled half-native Hawaiian.

  1. So now Danny boy we know its possible to accomplish a phoney birth and with the Secret Service not up to snuff maybe obongo is a paper phoney also….

  2. Dan Gibson, insults are fighting words. It is best to say such words up close. It makes for more interesting conversation.

  3. Dan, you mention “Hawaii” and you throw digs at the “birthers”.
The Obama’s “natural born citizen” issue is still not resolved…been with
us for about five years or so.

The “natural born citizen” (as Obama himself has said) means to be born of
parents who are/were both US citizen at one’s birth…place of birth is
nice to know but it is not the prime pass/fail test of being a “natural
    born citizen.”

Three congresses have decided not to touch this issue. There are a small
number of cases on this issue still in the courts…no court answer on this
issue, yet. It appears that we Democrats will put Obama back on the ballot
again…And Obama will most likely win the 2012 elections…And to the
birthers and citizens we seem to be saying…”What can be done about it?”

  4. @James: Hardly, but thanks for playing. If you think believing that Obama might actually be an American makes you a “partisan hack,” you might want to start building a bunker to fully hide from reality.

  5. You want to bring up the birth certificate now? After 3 years and millions of dollars of “legal fees”? Why? Is it because of this totally awesome recovery we are having? How about those gas prices? How about 1 out of 4 kids in America and in PIMA COUNTY below the poverty line? We are trillions of dollars in debt. U6 number is at 20% and we have the lowest economic participation rate since FDR with 10,000 Baby boomers retiring every day and you want to talk about the birth certificate? And you suggest I build a bunker?

O.K. Dan Gibson. Is Nintzel your boss? He is never this crass. I am your reader. If you want me to continue to read your articles, keep insulting me.
