A couple of things worth noting this week:

• In this issue, you’ll find our first Pride special section.
In it, you’ll find several stories regarding the lesbian, gay, bisexual
and transgendered community in Tucson, as well as a special calendar of
LGBT-related events occurring throughout the rest of the year. Thanks
to Adam Borowitz, Mari Herreras, Amanda Portillo, Irene Messina and our
talented art department for all of their hard work.

Our current plan is to do a special Pride section on a quarterly
basis. I’d love to hear any feedback you have on the section. E-mail me
at the address below if you have any thoughts.

Look for our next Pride section sometime in January!

• If you have not checked out our new mobile Web site on your
cell phone or PDA yet, please get thee to m.tucsonweekly.com at your earliest
convenience. We’re just finishing up beta testing on the initial
version of the site, and we want your two cents.

On the mobile site, you’ll find all of our events listings, our
location database, movie times and Best of Tucson® listings. It’s a
great resource to get information on what to do, and where to do it,
when you’re on the go in Tucson.

If you find any glitches, or have any suggestions on how we can make
m.tucsonweekly.com better, let
me know. And keep your eye on the site, because we’ll soon be adding
content from our blog (The Range) and all of the Tucson Weekly stories and coverage that you know and love.

  1. Great idea to have a quarterly Pride section! This is one of many reasons Tucson is rated a top-ten place to live by the LGBT community. Steps like these to proactively and PROUDLY INCLUDE are important to sustain a diverse, safe and welcoming community for everyone’s ultimate benefit.
