Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey isn’t happy that California Gov. Jerry Brown criticized Arizona’s lax gun restrictions. AP reports:

Asked if stricter gun control laws were warranted, as some activists have argued, the fourth-term Democrat replied, “California has some of the toughest gun control laws of any state. And Nevada and Arizona are wide open, so that’s a gigantic back door through which any terrorist can walk.”

His remarks led to a statement by Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, who said Brown’s comments politicized a tragedy and were “out of bounds.”

“Not only will we be ignoring Gov. Brown’s advice, but I call on him to retract his incredibly thoughtless and ill-advised comments,” Ducey said.

  1. I’m not sure Jerry’s remarks were politically correct but it’s pretty hard to challenge their accuracy.

  2. “Why shouldn’t anyone be able to buy a couple dozen of these? “

Seriously, why not? The same reason we can’t tell a 300 pound American he can’t eat fast food anymore, and why smoking is legal.

    It’s basic freedom.

California is a failed broke socialist state. Go move there if you are too butt-hurt that legal American can buy numerous guns here. Seriously, and bring Safier and his White Guilt/Privilege with you.

  3. If you love freedom, you’ll hate California! And didn’t the Dead Kennedys warn us about Jerry Brown years ago? PUNK ROCK AGAINST BARACK (and that totalitarian pig Jerry Brown!)
