Republicans in the Arizona House of Representatives are still pushing to strip away health insurance from 310,000 Arizonans below the federal poverty level even though federal aid being approved this week would allow them to keep them on the program.

The House is moving through the budget bills this afternoon. Still no action in the Senate.

    Rep Alan Grayson is pushing a bill in the US House(HR4789) for which he now claims to have 77 co-sponsors which is essentially medicair for all, allowing anyone to buy in, as a palliative to the mandate; to be passed through reconciliation as an adendum to current HCR working its way through Congress.

    Anyone in CD 8 please call Gabby Giffords and demand her support and vote. I’m assuming Raul in 7 is already on board, but I don’t know that.
