Fairly good show. Estrada seemed to have the more subtle mind — one better able to work constructively with the complexities of the situation. Dever was, predictably, in “more boots on the ground” mode. Two very different counties next door (Santa Cruz, for example, doesn’t have a huge USA War Machine fort nor USA War Machine sunbelt/PX/hospital retirees…who pays for all that?) and different sheriffs.
