Finally. Tucsonans or any other Arizona green card holders can walk into a shop, plop down some cash and walk away with a handful of the medical cannabis of their choosing.

The Green Halo, southern Arizona’s second dispensary and the state’s third, opened Jan. 1 on Wilmot Road just south of Interstate 10 with a full range of meds for any ailment. As of Jan. 2, they had about a dozen strains available. Unlike Southern Arizona Integrated Therapies, no appointments are necessary at Green Halo. Walk in. Buy meds. Walk out. Thank you very much, voters of Arizona.

The place is very, very easy to find. Take I-10 to Wilmot road, turn into the Shell station just south of the interstate. It’s next door to Shell in the same building. It’s green 😉

What: The Green Halo
Where: 7710 S. Wilmot Road
When: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily

More fun than FarmVille, more interesting than that Facebook friend you don't really remember from high school.

  1. you sure these guys aren’t freemasons selling GMO’ed weed grown in baby blood?

considering medical marijuana used to be $150 a quarter pound instead of $45 an eighth of an ounce, you may want to rethink this thing about the “legal guys” who put everyone out of business not being baby eating satanist illuminati cronies.

btw, you can find those secret nonexistent federal grow sites on the goldwater bombing range.. look for the gleaming irrigation canals and the rows of trees..

  2. I looked at their menu which seemed a little “high” ( no pun intended ) to me.
I’m very disappointed there isn’t any eatables creams or lotions for joint and muscle pain.
There needs to be some laws change in MMJ States for interstate trade of some of the products that are on the market.
I just don’t see Arizona catching up with the rest of MMJ States for so time.

  3. The plan for the state is to strategically place dispensaries in area’s that will block over 75% of the state from being able to grow MMJ as per the 25 mile rule. This is just another legal excuse for these “clubs” to make unimaginable profit and be gone 6-10 months later. Not-For-Profit? Let’s see how that worked out in other mmj states. Stand back, the feds will soon come on in. We have idiotic people in place of the states MMJ Program, and the state issued card’s offer us no protection, read the back of your card if you don’t believe me. Stay out of these gouge shop’s, don’t pay more that 70 dollars a quarter oz, and stop letting these clubs get away with importing marijuana to sell at an outrageous markup. All facility’s in Arizona should be required to produce there own medicine and with the 25 mile rule its just no feasibly possible.

The original supporter of the “NO 25 MILE RULE” was bill hayes, he in turn got busted with a grow op with over 1000 plant’s and is facing serious charges. I do not for see any over turn in the states 25 mile grow rule policy, get these gouging clubs out of here simply by boycotting. I would gladly buy marijuana off the street cheaper than buy from these criminals that are making 6+ thousand dollars per pound of pot that they are buying “OFF THE STREET” at a cost of less than 2500 dollars.

Marijuana is meant to heal, not to feed money grubbing opportunist’s that own theses facility’s, most of whom DO NOT EVEN HAVE A STATE ISSUED MMJ CARD!

  4. Have to agree with Dr Dank. Not-for-profit my eye! Talk about taking advantage of the poor soul that truly needs help. Better off buying it on the street at $50-60.00 an oz. even if it takes more usage to get the desired effect. This is truly ridiculous and a massive rip-off. It’s not like these “Pharmacists” have paid thousands of dollars for their education and thousands of hours studying for a Degree. But they’ll tell us it’s “All about our patients”, right? Pfffft!
