Prop 401 – Tucson Dog Protection Act passed by 29 votes! Who said your vote doesn’t count? Thanks to the good people of South Tucson for your vote to make modest improvements at the dog track.
It was another great day for greyhounds in Massachusetts because proposition 3 passed. This was the third time it was on the ballot but in Mass., greyhound racing is banned (goes away) by 2010.

I am most disappointed, as a Real Estate Broker, that the Homeowner Bill of Rights failed.
To me this suggests that any future lawsuits against builders, or FSBO’s who don’t make proper disclosure that work done to the residence/building does not meet code, or were not done by a licensed and bonded contractor…should just be summarily dismissed.
Just let the same old corruption that permeates Pima County continue, which includes my business. Since I work with ONLY BUYERS and do not list, I am fortunate to have the knowledge to advise my buyers of the needs for INSPECTIONS and not to hesitate to cancel a contract within our constrained time limits if I believe any work to be inferior.
And, there needed to DEFINITELY be a full 10 year warranty on new homes!
