At Madonna’s concert in Washington, D.C. last night, she had a very important voting message: Re-elect for the Black Muslim in the White House.
The kicker here is that there is not currently an elected black Muslim in the White House. Just some guy named Barack.
From a video of her performance posted on Gawker:
For better or for worse, alright, we have a Black Muslim in the White House, okay?
Oh boy. The Hill has a bit more:
“You all better vote for f—-ing Obama okay,” she told the crowd at Washington’s Verizon center.
Later in the show, Madonna took off her shirt and pulled down her pants to show she had “OBAMA” written in all capital letters across her lower back.
“When Obama is in the White House for a second term I’ll take it all off,” she said to cheers and whistles from the audience.
Oh Madonna. I know that you long for better, more controversial, more lucrative times, but validating something that’s been thoroughly debunked time and time again probably isn’t the way to do it.

To suggest that Madonna is confused is to suggest the obvious. As to her point that there is a “— a black Muslim in the White House” is little more than stating her observations of his obvious preference for the Muslim way of life.
Oh please. Last I heard she was a kabbalist, which is an offshoot of Jewish mysticism, hardly related or relatable to Islam.
Sounds like Madonna is getting loonier and loonier.
Must’ve been all the strange negative ions in the air as of late. Yes, great to support our President, Mr. Obama, but a bit off…Actually, I find it all hysterical. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if she did it on purpose as a jab at the Repubs. who think women don’t have enough intelligence to think for themselves (ie: the Muslim ref.).
She’s a celeb. At one time the word came from one who is celebrated, which implied that one did something worth celebrating. Long before I was born, and I am 64, the word lost the connection to doing something worth celebrating, and just came to mean someone who is famous. By definition, she is successful as long as she is known, whether it is for something worthy, or for nothing at all. As one person put it, there is no such thing as bad publicity. She created a way to get it. It was reported and we read it, and now I am commenting on it. Funny how that works.
Time for a face-off between Madge and the Nuge, methinks. They can rant each other to silence.
