Every year we hope reader participation increases in the first and second rounds of the annual Best of Tucson. This year is no different—with readers helping us break records in the thousands. Thank you.
We know getting through the ballot can be a challenge, but now that the first round is done the hard work begins. In the first round, we ask readers to nominate their favorites in all the different categories. Those with the most votes go to the next round. That’s where we are now. Have you voted for your favorite local character or business? Per usual, it doesn’t happen without the readers. Despite the social media thanks from businesses nominated asking their customers for their vote, those at Weekly World Central have very little to do with it all, except getting the ballot and final product to you. Mom and pop businesses are our lifeblood in this town, and so are the people who make Tucson special. Recognize them. Vote. Let’s break some more records.

WHY DOESN’T “ASK A MEXICAN” APPEAR IN THE WEEKLY ANYMORE??
They have all been deported.
They’re on the TUSD school board shagging one another.
