  1. We can’t complain about generous Tucsonians helping kids with school supplies, but that used to require a simple reading of the newspaper ads. Most kids could be supplied for a dollar or two. Pencils, pens, paper, notebooks, folders, etc. were often advertised (maybe still are) at prices that had to be a loss for stores like Target & Fry’s. I still have a pile of 9 cent spiral notebooks & 3 cent pencils my son never got around to using.

  2. Wait until the teachers find out that pension funds are under funded by trillions and cuts will have to be made. Does anybody care where all the money is going?

  3. Teach, believe me, we know. We marched for Red for Ed, we tell everyone we can. But the Republican powers that be don’t care about us. Please, if you really care about teachers, about your children…vote Democrat.
