Sailor is among the dogs that the folks at Cold Wet Noses are trying to find a home for.
Here’s what Sailor has to say at tucsoncoldwetnoses.com:
I am a handsome, noble, dignified, purebred, overweight miniature Pincher or “min pin” as they say. My name is Sailor and I weigh 25 lbs. (should be 2/3’s that, who said that?). I think of myself as a gentleman companion, God forbid no screaming children and such. No, I will take the good life, nice little walks, delightful naps on the sofa, a little scratch behind the ears and as for these lazy creatures you call cats, well, they’re OK, I don’t mind them.
My weakness, you may guess, is food. I do love to eat so you mustn’t tempt me. Of course I am housebroken, neutered and all that jazz (microchip, shots). You absolutely must make my acquaintance if I sound like the sort of canine companion you would consider sharing your life with and if you would like to be my personal trainer. Ask for Sailor…adoption fee $125.

Well, Trista Davis, you didn’t post a “Dog of the Day” on Saturday the 27th nor on Sunday the 28th…
What’s up with that?
Explanation please, Trista Davis…
Our interns get weekends off, Red Star. Dog of the Day runs Monday through Friday.
