Politico reports that Democrat Rodney Glassman may have company in the primary for the U.S. Senate seat now held by Republican John McCain:
An Arizona civil rights advocate jumped into the state’s Senate race Monday, pointing to the strict anti-illegal immigration law just signed by Republican Gov. Jan Brewer as a central theme of his campaign.
Randy Parraz joins a Democratic primary field that includes just one other candidate, businessman and Tucson City Councilman Rodney Glassman. And Christina Martinez, a spokeswoman for Parraz, said the new immigration law was a major factor driving his decision to run.
“This was the straw that broke the camel’s back,” she said. “For many of us, our spirit has become broken. People don’t have the will to take the lead and challenge these folks, so we’re relying on Randy to do it.”

Isn’t Rudy Garcia still running for U.S. Senate too?
I read Randy Parraz’ bio, sounds like he’s got some real chops. If he can actually think while talking, and answers questions directly, he’s got my vote. Didn’t think I was going to be able to hold my nose and vote for Rodney.

I did not even know Glassman had another challenger until today. Sadly this is another community organizer out of touch with reality of the illegal alien situation.
Man these are my options,
1. Glassman, the most experience he has is running Tucson into the ground and collecting rain water.
2. Parraz, which tries to rant on this website the Border is not really a problem and promotes amnesty. He is against the majority of Arizonans and the majority of American by being against SB 1070.
The Repubs are just as bad…
1. McCain and his total reversal on border security and amnesty. He acts like we forgot about his 2 Trillion dollar amnesty bill we sponsored two years ago. I like McCain over all, but this issue always bothered me about him.
2. Hayworth, he is sympathetic to the “birther” movement, which disqualifies him immediately. I liked his last book on how the Republican Party is in bed with the industries that hire illegal aliens. However, he not saying a peep about it now since he wants to run on their ticket.
I hate all my choices. Democracy sucks when you really do not have a choice. Democrats and Republicans are the same party. They just bring up the same decisive issues to rile their base. All the while taking care of their donors, lobbyists, and globalists.
I am tried of all these names they give themselves. Republicans, Democrats…they are all the same. I want an American to run for office.
