For nearly three decades, Casa de la Luz Hospice has been honored to serve the Tucson community with compassionate, patient centered care. Our mission is simple: to help every patient live the highest quality of life possible while providing comfort, dignity and support to the entire family.

Our experienced interdisciplinary team includes nurses, providers, social workers, chaplains, hospice aides, volunteers, music therapists and bereavement specialists who are dedicated to caring for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those we serve. We believe every patient deserves to be treated with kindness, respect and compassion.

In addition to hospice services, Casa de la Luz offers a nurse practitioner-based palliative care program designed to help individuals living with serious illnesses manage symptoms and improve quality of life. We are also proud to provide a 12-bed inpatient hospice unit for patients who require a higher level of care in a peaceful, supportive home life environment.

Our commitment to families extends well beyond the care of our patients. Our comprehensive bereavement program provides support to loved ones for up to 14 months following a patient’s passing. We also offer weekly virtual and in-person grief support groups that are open to the entire community, providing comfort, connection and hope to anyone navigating the loss of a loved one.

As a Tucson staple, we are grateful for the trust families have placed in us throughout the years. It is a privilege to walk alongside our patients and their loved ones during some of life’s most meaningful moments, helping them find peace, comfort and dignity every step of the way.
