The combination art gallery and bar known as Mr. Head’s Art Gallery and Bar is open and ready to fulfill your artistic and alcoholic desires at 509 N. Fourth Ave. Hours are noon to 2 a.m.
The place is the brainchild of Micah Blatt, who owns the custom glass-art shop Fathead Glass at 513 N. Fourth Ave. Check the place out on Facebook for more information.

I was there last Saturday (Dec 11). Plenty of beers to choose from, served in great glasses. They had a blues band playing that made my face fall off. I really love the spaceship wreck at the back of the bar. The artwork was enough to make me put down my beer and take a closer look. Go!!
Hee! Mr Heads is a lot of fun most nights, but I particularly like Saturday nights with the jam band playing whatever comes to mind. Did you know the trio did a nine hour stint over the 4th Avenue Festival weekend?? Hardcore guys! Fun to dance and socialize and check out all the funky art in the place. Definitely worth checking out.
