  1. Just make sure the petroleum jelly is not from foreign sources, since there’s just oodles of it under every rock in his mind.

  2. What the State Republican Party said of their shellacking, “Tonight’s result in Southern Arizona’s CD-8 Special Election unnervingly proves that some political races are less about issues and leadership and more about emotions and personalities,” the statement said. It came from Shane Wikfors, communications director for the state GOP.” That, in my opinion, leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, something like the flavor of the shoe Wikfors put in his.

  3. I sometimes wish there was a get outta town rule for transient politicians. Jesse Kelly is like that annoying kid that keeps bugging you even after you flat-out tell him you don’t like him and you don’t want him around.

  4. The real question will be are republicans foolish enough to try and wash off the tea party stink he’s infused himself with and waste more money and resources trying to run the clown a third time.

  5. He learned his lesson. Bet he announces today he doesn’t run for the CD2 race. McSally will be the nominee and she will be a tougher foe for Heinz or Barber. Question will be whether Heinz backs out now that Barber won. I think Barber will still beat McSally but it will be closer that 7 points.
