There’s a new burger and custard place going in on the corner of Thornydale and Orange Grove roads, in Marana. The sign outside says it’s called Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers and it looks like a fast-food gig akin to Culver’s or similar burger joints.

SO SICK OF BURGER JOINTS!
Just went to Sunflower and saw the sign, went in, and realized it is another In and Out Burger in disguise. I got a double California, they patties were about as thick as a Wendys single or Jacks, Maye even thinner, this is two burgers mind you. The bottom of my bun got soggy,, The other people with me got chicken fingers, while cooked good, they had no flavor, very bland, they do have A good BBQ sauce for them, I cant remember the brand name, has long horns on it.
Both burger eaters stated you could chew one of these with no teeth, mushy push them apart with your tongue etc.;.
The French Fries are skinny (Line In and Out) shoe string, the elder of us three stated they reminded her of the dried FF in a can. My arm still hurts from popping them into my mouth, they break up easily, well cooked, good flavor, just that they ended up being an inch long after a bit. I love a meaty skin on Fry,, a good sized FF, almost any Fast food size Fry but not In and Out or this place.
Will be back to try the custard as it is the only Ice cream place beside DQ on Ina,, and not just a frosty or McD stuff. They had some interesting flavors on the wall.
After all the hype, I was really disappointed when I went to the restaurant on Broadway. Although the staff was exceptionally polite and helpful, they got our order wrong and the hamburgers were terribly disappointing with their very, very thin meat patty… nor were they especially tasty or unique. I’ll go back to McD’s where I can get more for $1.00.
