Why not plug the hole with 1200, no make that 50,000 National Guardsmen?
We can blame BP, the fourth largest corporation on the planet…that’s easy. But who gave them the carte blanche to drill without a contingency plan? Our government (including our current Democratic government) and the Coast Guard have been complicate in downplaying this catastrophe. Rear Admiral Mary Landry in particular should be keelhauled for her outlandish, logic-defying statements since this event began; she and other public figures have been running PR for BP since the beginning of this disaster. It’s truly despicable. Underwater plumes are headed for the DeSoto Canyon of Florida’s panhandle, where the food chain begins for Florida’s fish industry. The oil has been conveniently broken down by BP’s dispersants, so it will enter the food chain more easily. This disaster has only begun.
