Bush administration’s initiative to stockpile 40,000 ventilators for a pandemic. If Trump is personally to blame for our lack of preparedness, so are Obama and Biden.
But let’s not forget who is to blame for this. Wuhan Lab , the Chinese government and World Health organization.

Simple fact, Asshole king didn’t treat this threat seriously enough initially and brushed it off as something that would be no worse than catching the flu. The Obama administration had attempted to replenish supply, but between governmental wrangling and the U.S. getting hit with numerous diseases that would compromise the the stock on hand, it was a losing battle. Asshole king’s response when he assumed office: get rid of everything Obama put in place, no matter how beneficial. This included funds earmarked for emergency medical supplies and the pandemic team that would’ve been oh so beneficial when this COVID-19 mess was first relayed to the U.S. government in December of 2019.
So, to recap: Asshole king made things harder to combat this pandemic because of his “destroy everything Obama” attitude and was slow to respond when first confronted with the seriousness of this because “We have it totally under control”.
