  1. Whilst I generally find Clay Jones’s cartoons apt and humorous, this one bothered me. The sick man who blew up his RV in Nashville cannot at this time be connected to any of Mr. Trump’s policies or attitudes no matter how reprehensible those may be. Certainly, this is not the first demented person to wreak destruction in our country, and he won’t be the last. Yes, the end of the Trump years may bring a decrease in the hate-filled rhetoric that has been the norm of late, but it will not bring an end to individual mental illness. As a therapist and as one who cares about how we deal with the suffering of the mentally ill, I hope we can see the difference between it and politics.

  2. Never happen. The left is too invested in conspiracy hoaxes. They use fear to push the mentally challenged and the research lazy public.

    Trump will be re elected.

  3. I for one am getting pretty tired of corrosive, violent, destructive behavior by Angry Old White Guys being characterized as mental illness, which is too often used as a dodge to escape responsibility.

If you want to characterize white male privilege, white fragility, racism, deep-seated inability to deal with progressive societal change, or the profound cowardice that underlies all of these O.W.G. symptoms as “mental illness”, that’s up to you I guess, but in my book they don’t qualify.
