The DOJ might take a stab at a violation of the victim’s — oh excuse me, rioters and looters — civil rights, but that would be a long shot (pun intended) at best.

This is what the left calls a hero….Rosenbaum had multiple convictions in Pima County, spending just over 14 years in prison. He served the first 10 years on his first rape charge in 20202. However, for the two other rape charges he only received sentences of 30 months.
WRN Investigates reported that Rosenbaum was charged by a grand jury with 11 counts of child molestation and inappropriate sexual activity around children, including anal rape. The victims were five boys ranging in age from nine to 11 years old.
No one called Rosenbaum a hero.

It’s irrelevant if the men Kyle Rittenhouse killed were criminals or not. That’s not how the justice system should work.

So once again all we get is what-about-isms, blaming the victims (and yes, they were victims no matter what they may or may not have done in the past) and quibbling about how people were characterized by lawyers and the media.
This was not April 18, 1775, and this 17-year old was not a minuteman, nor was this a case of the NRA’s favorite myth about the answer to a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. The moment he took his unlawfully-gained weapon and headed toward the border to participate in an on-going riot/protest/dumpster fire/shit show, he was going to get into trouble and people died. Putting yourself into harms way and then crying self-defense is BS.
I get it, people are angry and scared, the police are undermanned, underappreciated and overused, but we cannot allow or condone armed idiots to take the law into their own hands period.
As for those who question my experience, more than 20 years in the military police with most of that as an investigator. I know what the use of force and the use of deadly force is about. On more than one occasion I was justified in drawing my weapon, but I am proud to say that I never had to take a life. No law enforcement officer worthy of the name ever wants to take a life ever.
If it weren’t for the pitiful quality of elected leaders Kyle could have stayed home.
They stole law and order from us for many reasons. Rioters are called protesters and arsonists are simply victims of racism, regardless of their skin color.
